Cad.inc is a proudly South African 100% female-owned business launched during the South African lockdown in 2020 by Claire Allen

After years of owning and running multiple service-based businesses, she dreamed of launching a product range. While researching a bespoke gift box, the idea of creating Cad.inc was born.

We produce uniquely designed and bespoke home and kitchenware items. We take the hassle out of gift selection and offer you something very unique for your home. We also offer customised and branded products for corporates.

WHY

Our space saving wine sticks become a 6 bottle wine rack, handmade from pinewood with only a gel stain and sealer applied to preserve the product. We use raw, natural wood and celebrate natures’ nuance and beautiful imperfection in grain, colour and texture to create strikingly individual items. No two are ever alike.

Our Work

We currently offer four finishes, Natural, Toast, Oak, and Rosewood. Our wine sticks come in pairs and are branded with a brass engraved disk. Our labels are 100% hand-made, using recycled and biodegradable paper. The label can be planted to grow into wildflowers to attract butterflies and bees to assist with pollination. We aim to make all packaging recyclable.
